About
While eighteen-year-old dancer Alixe Blair is walking the streets of London after giving a memorable performance as Myrtha in the ballet Gisselle for the Royal Ballet, she’s cornered in a dark alley by a gang of monocle-wearing hoodlums. Fellow dancer and rising superstar, Marc Dumont, comes to her rescue. Shortly after, they begin a romance, and he introduces the young virgin girl to pleasures she never knew existed. Then their world-renowned choreographer designs a solo just for her, and suddenly she’s the talk of the ballet world and the envy of all her friends in the company.
But when a wealthy patron enters her life and wants to control her, will her true love come to rescue her again? Or will the young dancer have to get through the ordeal on her own and learn to stand on her own two feet?
